Do you remember how people would mock President Bush when he said “terrorist” with his Texas accent? It all seemed incredibly overblown. President Obama is proving to be far more dangerous because the TV types don’t make fun of him and he is taking terrorism much more seriously.

US Congress has passed a bill which approves government’s deployment of up to 30,000 spy drones in the country’s airspace by 2020. 30,000 is an insane number, good for 600 drones per state.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Reauthorization Act is expected be signed by President Barack Obama Steven Aftergood, who heads the Project on Government Secrecy at the Federation of American Scientists says:

There are serious policy questions on the horizon about privacy and surveillance, by both government agencies and commercial entities.

The defense sector, also known as the military industrial complex is pushing this like it’s the next great candy. The drone market will be worth hundreds of millions according to some estimates.

The drones are being spun as being for our own safety. 50 spy drones would have been scary but over 500 per state is a war on the American people.

Also announced are cyber cafes meant to spy on the public.

The article reads:

Flyers that list “suspicious” activities have been made accessible to the business owners in accordance with the program, the so-called Communities Against Terrorism (CAT).

According to the FBI, the “suspicious” activities that need to be monitored include the following: always paying the internet fee in cash rather than with a credit card, using the internet service at the cybercafé in spite of having an internet access at home, and participating in nonviolent demonstrations, etc.

People are also suspected of being terrorists if they own precious metals, purchase flashlight or store a seven-day food supply.

An individual can be suspected of planning a terrorist attack if engaged in one or more of the listed activities.

Internet café owners are then advised to gather personal information about the suspected person, such as ethnicity, languages spoken, and license plates, etc.

How are the café’s manager supposed to already know the user already has internet? Could it be because the government already knows these things. Paying cash is suspicious? This is absolute insanity on the way to the USA. None of this is based around what we would vote for. None of it is going to protect us. If there is a reason for this craziness, let us know, proof would be nice. Ah, well….what’s on TV? Go team, go!
